How to cook a Blueberry & Lemon Cake with ILVE's Baking Setting

This week, I tried ILVE’s baking function! The “multiple fan cooking setting” has been designed to perfectly cook cakes, ensuring they are evenly baked. As you know I am not a cook or a baker, I am just someone who likes to try my hand at baking and cooking, just like many of you.

I had great fun making the talented Liz Marek (Sugar Geek Show) Lemon and Blueberry cake recipe! It’s not perfect but my gosh it tasted amazing!

Here is how it went!

 

Ingredients

Lemon Blueberry Cake Ingredients

  • 8 oz buttermilk Or regular milk with 1 Tbsp white vinegar added
  • 3 oz vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp lemon extract
  • 12 oz cake flour
  • 11 oz granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 8 oz unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp AP Flour for dusting blueberries
  • 2 cups blueberries You can use frozen but don't thaw them

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 16 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 8 oz unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 32 oz powdered sugar sifted
