All ILVE rangecookers with E3 temperature control are fitted with a safety device that stops undesired or accidental start-up of the ovens. Each oven can be locked separately and can be activated or deactivated.
To turn on the child lock, simply push in the temperature control knob (thermostat) like a button. Hold the knob down for roughly 3 seconds until you hear a “bleep”. The clock display will now read On.
The child lock is deactivated in exactly the same way, by pushing in the temperature control knob for 3 seconds until you hear the bleep. The clock display will read OFF.
